2008 September: Studio 7 SDK with Feature Pack 3 is launched
Feature Pack 3 with Service Release 6 is now available for the Studio 7 SDK software for both our business and academic users.

* Note that you need a Support and Upgrade Agreement (SUA) to be able to use features introduced in Feature Pack 3. Academic users may purchase the Feature Pack 3 as an add-on.

List of features in the new Studio 7 SDK
The sixth service release of Studio 7 SDK accompanies Service Release 10 with Feature Pack 3 of Studio 7 editions. The Feature Pack 3 for SDK are available to users with a valid Support and Upgrade Agreement (SUA). It also contains some improvements and bug fixes available to all users.
New Features:
- Supports models created in Studio 7 where Feature Pack 3 features have been enabled. These models typically use the new INITIF function.
Improvements:
- The value of permanent variables can now be changed also when the simulation has finished.
- The Powersim Engine ActiveX Control is now listed as "Powersim Engine Control" in object browsers.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed a problem experienced when using simulation objects with the Powersim Simulation Engine. This problem has been identified on computers running Windows Vista in combination with hardware-enabled DEP (Data Execution Protection).
- Fixed problems sometimes experienced when the "Enforce time unit consistency" setting is switched off for the active simulation project.
- Fixed some documentation errors regarding the parameters of the Reset method of the Powersim Engine ActiveX Control and the old IPsSim COM interface.
