With the Studio 8 GIS solution you can analyze how a critical event plays out in time. These off-the-shelf simulation product will take into consideration the terrain in the area and the present weather conditions.

NOTE: The GIS solution is developed for the Norwegian market. Thus, Powersim Studio 8 GIS and the corresponding GIS/Line Simulation software is available only available in the Norwegian market.

At present we offer two modules with Studio 8 GIS: The Gas model - see what happens minutes and hours after a gas leakage The Rainfall model - investigate where water accumulates and whether heavy rainfall increases the risk for landslide

Studio 8 GIS can be used to run the two off-the-shelf modules, and to present the simulation results in a GIS system, you need the GIS/LINE Simulation* tool from Norkart as well as maps for the area you want to investigate.
