What is SUA?

A yearly Support and Upgrade Agreement (SUA) allows users of Studio 7 to access new features after relative short development cycles then otherwise possible.

You never have to pay to upgrade your Studio 7 to new versions and the new files are easily available for download over the Internet.

You will also get access to phone and e-mail support on any technical and modeling issues.

Standard SUA

The Standard Support and Upgrade Agreement includes:

Telephone Technichal support during regular business hours (8AM to 4PM CET).
E-mail Technical support.
Free download of all Service Releases*.
Free download of all Feature Packs*.
Free download of all Major Releases.
Major releases on CD is available at shipping costs.

When you have a valid SUA, only one download is necessary, downloading the Feature Pack file will include the Service Release as well.

Premium SUA

The Premium Support and Upgrade Agreement (PSUA) includes, in addition to the items in the Standard agreement:

Up to 25% discount on prepaid fee for Modelling support and assistanse.
Up to 20% discount on our Standard Workshops.

Any travelling and accomodation are not included within the PSUA.

Commerical terms of SUA

The SUA is valid for one calendar year at the time and is based on 21% of license list price.
The SUA is mandatory for the first 12 months and is automatically renewed for succesive years.
A SUA runs until it is closed by written notice at least - 1 - month before a SUA is up for renewal.

If you have an older version of Studio software, you will have to upgrade your license to Studio 7 when you enter a SUA.
Pervious versions like Studio 2005 and 2003 will qualify for an upgrade discount.
Previous versions of Powersim Constructor 2.xx will not qualify for any upgrade discount.

Availability of SUA for Business users

The Support and Upgrade Agreements (SUA) is only available for our customers who purchase any of our corporate products. The products following products are corporate products:

Studio 7 Enterprise
Studio 7 Executive
Studio 7 SDK
Studio 7 Expert
Studio 7 Professional

Availability of Feature Packs for Academic users

The regular Standard SUA or Premium SUA is not available for Academic users. But Academic users may purchase the Feature Packs individually at a cost of 21% of license cost. This entitles the Academic user to download the most up-to-date Feature Pack released.
