Product upgrades

Powersim Software is committed to providing the leading software for business simulation, and puts a significant effort into product development.

Clients with Support and Upgrade Agreement (SUA) will receive:

• All new Major Versions of that product at no extra cost
  • We aim at one major new release every second year. Each major release typically adds significant enhancements and new features to our products.
• All new Feature Packs of that product at no extra cost
  • To shorten the wait for new features, we provide our users with Feature Packs releases. The Feature Packs are usually launched twice a year in between major releases.

Upgrade from previous versions Take advantage of the latest features of Studio 9 and upgrade your old versions of our software to the new Major Version. You may enter the SUA programme when you have upgraded to Powersim Studio 9. As long as you have a running SUA subscription, you do not need to upgrade again. Receive the following upgrade discounts:
45% from Powersim Studio 9 licenses 35% from Powersim Studio 8  licenses 15% from Powersim Studio 7 licenses

Older editions of Powersim Studio/Powersim Constructor versions will not qualify for any upgrade discount. 

Cross upgrade between editions

Are you thinking of cross upgrading your Studio 9 product?

You may do so with no additional fees*.

If, for example, you cross upgrade a Studio 9 Professional to a Studio 9 Expert license, simply pay the price difference between the two products. If your SUA is not expired, this amount is also deducted from the new SUA to be paid for the Expert.

You can cross upgrade from:

• Powersim Studio 9 Professional to Powersim Studio 9 Expert.
• Powersim Studio 9 Expert to Powersim Studio 9 Enterprise.
• Powersim Studio 9 Cockpit to Powersim Studio 9 Executive.

*Before you can cross upgrade, first you need to upgradeto the latest Studio 9 edtion.
