Product upgrades

Powersim Software is committed to providing the leading software for business simulation, and puts a significant effort into product development.

We aim at one major new release every other year. Each major release typically adds significant enhancements and new features to our products.

• Customers with a valid Support and Upgrade Agreement (SUA) for a given product will receive all new major versions of that product at no extra cost.
• Customers without SUA can upgrade to the newest version of the software at a discounted price.

Upgrade from previous versions and SUA

If you have an older version of Studio software, you will have to upgrade your license to Studio 8 when you enter a SUA.

• Previous versions of Studio 8 (where SUA is cancelled) will qualify for an upgrade discount of 45%.
• Previous versions of Studio 7 will qualify for an upgrade discount of 35%.
• Previous versions like Studio 2005 will qualify for an upgrade discount of 15%.

• Previous versions of Powersim Studio or Constructor versions will not qualify for any upgrade discount. 

Upgrade between Studio 8 editions

It is possible to upgrade your current license to a higher product level at a discounted rate. You can step up from:

• Step up from Studio 8 Professional to Studio 8 Expert.
• Step up from Studio 8 Expert to Studio 8 Enterprise.
• Step up from Studio 8 Cockpit to Studio 8 Executive.
