Service Release 7 for Studio 2003

The download below will upgrade your current version of Studio 2003 to the latest available service release.

Important Notice

You will download Studio 2003 Service Release 7 if you continue. The file format has been changed with the release of Service Release 5. Files created with Studio 2003 SR5, SR6 or SR7 will not open in previous versions of Studio (including previous service releases for Studio 2003).

To install the service release, download it, run it on your computer, and enter your existing license number for Studio 2003.

Updates and fixes in Service Release 7
  • Fixed errors that occured when connecting the spreadsheet dataset in Studio 2003 to Microsoft Excel 97.
  • Fixed issues regarding the collecting flow functions when used in combination with multi-dimensional arrays, and when used in combination with other flow functions.
  • Fixed issues regarding crashes when loading simulation projects containing Risk Assessment variables from earlier versions than Service Release 6.
  • Fixed issues regarding loading of invalid control parameters.
  • Fixed issues causing errors when using the VBFunction.
  • Fixed issues regarding year periods in the Studio Dataset.
  • Fixed issues regarding numerical characteristics in the SEM Dataset.
  • Fixed issues regarding exported permanent variables.
Updates and fixes in Service Release 6

Service Release 6 fixes a few minor bugs in Studio 2003. Service Release 6 includes all previous service releases, including Service Release 5, which is described below.

New features in Service Release 5
  • New and improved SEM Dataset.
  • Dataset variable may be edited in time graphs.
  • The Switch control now features a static type, which allows you to update a static text based on the value of a variable.
  • A new Zoom to 100% button is available in the toolbar.
  • You can now update the product license from within Studio (without reinstalling the software).
  • The Copy Area as Picture command is now available in the Presentation Mode.
  • A new column named Well Defined is now available in the Equations View and in the Details Window.
Updates and fixes in Service Release 5
  • Fixed issues regarding copy and paste on Japanese systems.
  • Fixed issues regarding incorrect display of characters on Japanese Windows 98.
  • Fixed issues regarding zooming of diagrams.
  • Fixed issues regarding data import from Excel to permanent variables. Clicking Restore Permanent Variables will now revert the value of the permanent variable to the imported value from Excel.
  • Fixed issues regarding crashes caused by the password dialog box.
  • Fixed issues with the DelayMTR function when used with multi-dimensional variables.
  • You can now select interpolation method for dataset variables in the Spreadsheet Dataset.
  • Risk Assessment now supports simulation game files (*.sig).
  • The Show History command is now available for the time graph in Presentation Mode.
  • Selecting Exclude Variable on a snapshot will now exclude the original variable symbol from the diagram, and remove all existing snapshots as well.
